Seconds: A Graphic Novel Book Review
I want to hack the website so I can give this six stars. I’ve always
been a fan of Scott Pilgrim, but this, THIS, has a maturity to its
imagery and storytelling I was not expecting whatsoever. Seconds blew me
away. I couldn’t stop reading it once the hooks were in, it just
absorbed me into it. The brilliance of it, at least to me, is just how
imperfect it is. I don’t mean that on an execution level, no, that’s
perfect; I mean that on a narrative level. I haven’t been affected by a
graphic novel like this since Blankets and if that isn’t high enough
praise to get you to buy it, I don’t have any idea what could. Get online Seconds: A Graphic Novel today.
