I loved this book
I’m not surprised I loved it because I really enjoyed Ms Colgan’s other
books too. I read this in front of the woodburner, cuppa on the go it’s
the perfect book for this! I actually ended up reading it in bed, into
the wee small hours as I just couldn’t put it down!! I did mean to
ration myself, but hey ho!
Read this if you love books which touch you, books which make you feel warm inside and ache for the characters. I personally identified with something that happens to Rosie in this book, and it made me both cry and feel hopeful.
There’s a really useful intro if you haven’t read the other books in the series, but I’d recommend that you do, ‘cos they’re lovely too!
And by the way, I also grew up on The Dark is Rising books like Jenny Colgan, and here’s my secret – I still read them now!!
So my recommendation is that you read, enjoy, and then find some more JC books to read. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Lipton!! Get online The Christmas Surprise today.
